Trouwfilm: Tom & Sanne // Bruiloft in het Wereldmuseum, Rotterdam

The wedding of Tom & Sanne was the first wedding we did this year. And it might sound cliche, but it was one we were really looking forward to. Having a similar story as our own – being high-school sweethearts who’ve been together for 14 years – we’ve had such a great connection. Tom and Sanne’s story really is such a beautiful one. Having overcome a lot together, their wedding felt like a well-deserved climax to their relationship.

Personally, we absolutely love this film. This was a wedding where everything came together. A tight-knitted group of friends (who weren’t afraid to roast the groom – just a little), an emotional family and lots of people who weren’t afraid to show their feelings toward the couple. What more can we ask for? There were so many real, genuine moments for us to capture, because this was such a loving and fun wedding. Tom and Sanne were extremely nervous for their vows, which they chose to say in private. But it turned out to be so heartfelt, so beautiful – we couldn’t keep our own emotions in check.

We’d had the pleasure of working with Wianda Bongen, an amazing photographer who we’ve admired for a long time but had never met before. And we’ve had so much fun! We can’t wait until the next wedding we’re going to do together!
